ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø signs Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with M. Narikbayev KAZGUU University in Kazakhstan

A delegation from ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø (UÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø) consisting of Vassilis Konstantinou, Pro Vice-Chancellor (International Development) and Tatiana Rizopoulou, Director of International Partnerships, visited Nur-Sultan and had meetings with the UK Embassy in the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC) Court, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Education and Science as well as with KAZGUU University, to discuss strategic partnerships in education and training.

UÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø and KAZGUU Memorandum of Understanding

KAZGUU University is one of the largest educational and scientific centers, ranks first in the country for legal studies and has a well-deserved and highly regarded reputation in Kazakhstan.

UÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø and KAZGUU have agreed to work together on a number of strategic partnerships in education and training. As a result, on Tuesday, December 3rd, Vassilis Konstantinou, on behalf of UÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø and Narikbayev Talgat Maksutovich, Chairman of KAZGUU signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to formally recognise the collaboration between the two institutions.

The signing of the MoU will benefit the law aspirants and faculty members in developing a broader understanding of English ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø through the delivery of degree and non-degree courses in Kazakhstan, an International ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø Summer School and Study Abroad Programmes. UÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø was called in as the leading UK legal education provider to operate as the partner to the KAZGUU University and has the support of the Ministry of Justice and Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Vassilis Konstantinou said: “We are very excited about the opportunity to help the KAZGUU ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø School. Kazakhstan is a fast-growing economy and a new hub for investors and international business. Through this partnership, ULAW will be able to it develop a closer connection with the Government of Kazakhstan and the AIFC and contribute towards the internationalisation of legal education in the country and region.”
